ManufactIQ cookie policy

In short: we use only what the site needs to work and to stay secure, and two display choices you make yourself inside the CRM. We count visits on our own server, without cookies, scripts or anything that identifies you. No advertising, no tracking - which is why we do not show a cookie banner.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small pieces of information stored on or accessed from a user's device when they visit a website.

The same legal rules can also apply to technologies including:

tracking pixels;
scripts;
tags;
browser storage;
device identifiers; and
similar technologies.

The ICO now refers to these collectively as storage and access technologies.

2. How ManufactIQ uses cookies and similar technologies

Strictly necessary technologies

These are required for essential functions such as:

security;
authentication;
remembering privacy choices; and
providing functions specifically requested by the visitor.

Where the legal requirements for the strictly necessary exemption are met, consent is not required.

Preferences you set yourself

Inside the CRM, your browser can remember two display choices you make: the light or dark theme, and whether the menu is open or collapsed. They are stored only on your device, only when you make the choice, and are never sent to us.

Analytics

We count visits to the public pages of our website on our own server, from the request your browser sends for each page anyway. We keep only daily totals - of the page, the website or campaign link that led there, and whether it was read on a phone, a tablet or a computer - and nothing that identifies you. Nothing is stored on or read from your device to do it: no cookie, no browser storage, no script and no tracking pixel, and nothing in the CRM is counted at all. Our privacy notice says more.

To object, turn on your browser's Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track setting: a browser that sends either signal is not counted.

We do not use any other analytics technology. If we introduce one, we will update this policy first. Some purely statistical analytics may be used without consent under the 2026 PECR rules, provided we tell you clearly and give you a simple, free way to object; anything that does not meet those conditions will be used only with your consent.

Advertising and conversion tracking

We do not use advertising, conversion-tracking or remarketing technologies - such as Google Ads conversion tracking, Google remarketing, the LinkedIn Insight Tag or the Meta Pixel. If we ever do, they will not be activated until you have given your consent.

3. Cookies currently used

This is every cookie and similar technology our website and the CRM use.

Our website loads nothing from any other website: its fonts, images and scripts are all served from our own domain.

5. Changing cookie preferences

You can delete or block cookies and browser storage at any time in your browser's settings. If you block the strictly necessary cookies, signing in to the CRM and booking a demo will not work.

To stop the CRM remembering your theme and menu choices, clear your browser's storage for manufactiq.co.uk; the CRM then uses its defaults.

If we introduce technologies that need consent, a “Cookie settings” link will be added to the footer of every page so you can change your choice at any time.

6. Third-party technologies

Our website is hosted by DigitalOcean, which delivers our pages through Cloudflare's network. Cloudflare sets the one cookie in the table above that is not ours, to protect the site from automated traffic, and hides the email addresses on our pages from spam robots with a small script that stores nothing on your device. No other third party places cookies or similar technologies through our website.

The link to our LinkedIn page in the footer is an ordinary link: nothing from LinkedIn loads on our pages. If you follow it, LinkedIn's own cookie policy applies on LinkedIn.

Our privacy notice says how we and our suppliers handle personal information.

7. Updates to this Cookie Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy when:

our website changes;
we introduce new technologies;
suppliers change; or
legal requirements change.

The latest version will be published on our website.
