ManufactIQ website terms of use
Last updated: 1 October 2026
1. About these terms
These terms of use set out how you may use the website at manufactiq.co.uk (the website). By using the website you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the website.
The website is operated by ManufactIQ Ltd (“ManufactIQ”, “we”, “us”, “our”), a private limited company registered in England and Wales under company number 17376873, whose registered office is at Office 609, Floor 6, Broad Quay House, Bristol BS1 4DJ, United Kingdom.
You can contact us by email at support@manufactiq.co.uk.
Our privacy notice and cookie policy also apply to your use of the website (see section 11).
2. Using our website
The website is free to use. We do not guarantee that it, or any content on it, will always be available or be uninterrupted. We may suspend, withdraw or restrict all or part of the website for business or operational reasons, and will try to give reasonable notice of any planned suspension.
We may update and change the website from time to time, for example to reflect changes to our products, our prices or our customers' needs.
You are responsible for making all arrangements necessary for you to access the website, and for making sure that anybody who accesses it through your internet connection is aware of these terms and complies with them.
3. Business use only
The website and our services are intended for businesses, and in particular for manufacturing businesses. They are not intended for consumers.
By using the website, booking a demonstration or asking for a trial, you confirm that you are acting for the purposes of your trade, business, craft or profession, and not as a consumer.
4. The CRM service and accounts
The website includes the sign-in page for the ManufactIQ CRM. Use of the CRM, including any free trial, is governed by the written agreement between ManufactIQ and the customer organisation (the customer agreement), not by these terms. Where the customer agreement and these terms conflict, the customer agreement prevails.
If you are given a user account, you must keep your sign-in details, including any two-step sign-in device and recovery codes, confidential and must not share them with anybody. Tell us straight away at support@manufactiq.co.uk if you think somebody else knows them.
We may disable any account or sign-in if we reasonably believe it is being misused, or that these terms or the customer agreement have been broken.
5. Intellectual property
We own, or are licensed to use, all intellectual property rights in the website and its content, including its text, design, graphics, screenshots and software. They are protected by copyright and other laws. All rights are reserved. © 2026 ManufactIQ Ltd.
You may view the website and print or download extracts of it for your own organisation's internal use in evaluating our services. You must not otherwise copy, modify, republish or distribute any part of it, or use any part of it for commercial purposes, without our written permission.
“ManufactIQ” and the ManufactIQ logo are our trading name and brand. You must not use them without our written permission. ManufactIQ Ltd (company number 17376873) is not connected with any other business trading under a similar name.
The fonts used on the website are made available by their authors under the SIL Open Font License, a copy of which is published with the font files.
6. Acceptable use
You may use the website only for lawful purposes. You must not:
- use it in any way that breaks any applicable law or regulation, or is fraudulent;
- knowingly introduce viruses, trojans, worms, logic bombs or other material that is malicious or technologically harmful;
- try to gain unauthorised access to the website, the server it is stored on, or any server, computer or database connected to it;
- attack the website through a denial-of-service attack or a distributed denial-of-service attack;
- use automated tools to scrape, harvest or copy content from the website, or to make bookings;
- try to get around any security feature, or any limit on use such as the booking form's; or
- book demonstrations in another person's name, or give details you know to be false.
Breaking section 6.1 may be a criminal offence under the Computer Misuse Act 1990. We may report it to the relevant law enforcement authorities and co-operate with them, including by disclosing your identity to them, and your right to use the website will end immediately.
7. Information, prices and the free trial
The content on the website is general information about ManufactIQ and its services. It is not advice, and you should not rely on it when making a decision without checking with us first. We try to keep it accurate and up to date, but make no promise that it is complete, accurate or current.
Prices on the website are in pounds sterling and exclude VAT. We are not currently registered for VAT, so no VAT is charged at present. If we register, VAT will be added at the rate then in force from the date our registration takes effect.
Plans are priced monthly. Where a plan is paid annually, the first year is charged as ten months and each later year as twelve.
A free trial is available only after a demonstration has been held, and on the terms we confirm in writing when we set it up.
Prices, plans, features and trials described on the website are an invitation to discuss them with us, not an offer capable of acceptance. No contract exists until the customer agreement has been agreed in writing. What each plan includes is set out in that agreement, which prevails over any description on the website.
8. Links to other websites
Where the website links to other websites, such as our LinkedIn page or the Information Commissioner's Office, the links are provided for your information only. We have no control over those websites and accept no responsibility for them or for any loss that may arise from your use of them.
You may link to our home page, provided you do so in a way that is fair and lawful and does not damage our reputation or suggest any form of association, approval or endorsement on our part where none exists. You must not frame the website on any other site.
9. Our liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot be excluded or limited under the law of England and Wales.
Subject to section 9.1, we exclude all conditions, warranties, representations and other terms which might apply to the website or its content, whether express or implied.
Subject to section 9.1, we will not be liable to you, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty or otherwise, even if foreseeable, for any of the following losses arising under or in connection with the use of, or inability to use, the website, or the use of or reliance on any content on it:
- loss of profits, sales, business or revenue;
- business interruption;
- loss of anticipated savings;
- loss of business opportunity, goodwill or reputation;
- loss or corruption of data; or
- any indirect or consequential loss or damage.
Subject to section 9.1, our total liability to you for any other loss or damage arising under or in connection with the use of, or inability to use, the website, or the use of or reliance on any content on it, is limited to £100.
We set these limits because the website is free to use, is provided for general information only, and you can check anything important with us before relying on it.
Our liability in connection with the CRM service is dealt with in the customer agreement and not in these terms.
10. Viruses and security
We take reasonable steps to keep the website secure, but we do not guarantee that it will be free from bugs or viruses.
You are responsible for configuring your own technology to access the website, and should use your own virus protection software.
11. Privacy and cookies
How we use personal information, including the details you give when you book a demonstration, is set out in our privacy notice at manufactiq.co.uk/privacy.
The cookies and similar technologies the website uses are set out in our cookie policy at manufactiq.co.uk/cookies.
12. Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms at any time by updating this page. Please check it from time to time: the terms that apply are the ones in force when you use the website. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last changed.
13. General
If a court or other competent authority decides that any part of these terms is invalid or unenforceable, that part will apply with whatever change is needed to make it valid, or, if that is not possible, will be treated as removed. The rest of these terms will not be affected.
If we do not insist straight away that you do something these terms require, or delay taking steps against you, that does not release you from it, and we can still insist on it later.
Nobody other than you and us has any right to enforce these terms, whether under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 or otherwise.
14. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter (including non-contractual disputes or claims), are governed by the law of England and Wales.
The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any such dispute or claim.
15. Contact us
